There are bollards at various points around the Vrijthof to keep traffic out of the city centre. These bollards are not recognised by all navigation systems. Therefore, update your navigation system before you leave so that you have the most up-to-date route available.

• Are you coming from Eindhoven via the motorway? Then take the upper tunnel exit 54.
• Are you coming from Liège via the motorway? Take exit 54 along the tunnel.

Then follow the signs for “Cadier en Keer – Maastricht-Centrum Zuid”, exit 54. You will be guided through the tunnel tube for local traffic. After approximately 2300 metres, you can turn right towards Maastricht-Centrum Zuid. This is exit 54. Keep left and you will arrive at John F. Kennedysingel N278.

Continue on the N278 until you cross the Maas on the John F. Kennedy Bridge. Turn right at the traffic lights. You are now on Sint Hubertuslaan, Sint Pieterstraat. Continue straight ahead and turn left at the end onto Bredestraat, which ends at the south corner of the Vrijthof. Turn left and then immediately right. This is Papenstraat.

The hotel is located at number 11 on the left-hand side. You can load and unload on the right-hand side of the pavement, but not in front of the red gate, as this is a garage.

Our hotel is a 15-minute walk from Maastricht Central Station. You can also take the bus to Vrijthof Maastricht, from where it is a 2-minute walk.
